Unfortunately, every once in a while an issue may occur - we are human, after all! August Mamas will accept defective merchandise for exchange only within 7 days of when you receive the order. This includes an item with a hole, stain, or manufacturing defect.
August Mamas only allows exchanges for incorrect sizes, no refunds. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. August Mamas does not accept returns that have strong odors. Please keep your purchases away from pets, smoke + perfume until you are sure you want to keep them.
What is the process of returning defective merchandise?
Please follow these instructions for an exchange:
1. Take a photo of the problem - if the problem is print size, please take the photo with a ruler in the picture.
2. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
3. Please include the following:
-the order number
-a specific description of the damage/issue
-if there are multiple products in one order, please identify the product with the issue

4. Once we receive your return, we will send you the correct size.
*Note: customer is responsible for all shipping costs for returned + replacement products.
How should I send back my return?
Please note, packages must be returned by a carrier that can provide guarantee of delivery. August Mamas is not responsible for packages lost during return shipment. We suggest using UPS or FEDEX for reliable delivery.
