Hey girl, how are you holding up in this Covid-19 mess? Have you changed out of your pajamas? How many days of dry shampoo is in your hair right now? I will admit it has gotten harder to get out of bed in the mornings - blame it on the same routine I've been in for 60 days and counting of self-isolation, or knowing there's not much to rush around for. But I have gotten dressed every morning, and even if that has mostly consisted of my favorite joggers or high school tennis sweats, it is the first step in tackling the day. Since comfortable clothes are right up there with the quarantine essentials of favorite snack foods and toilet paper, I compiled a list of lounge wear to stay cozy in during your home school sessions, puzzle competitions, or newfound work from home life.
Oversized, graphic, lightweight or fleece-lined, here's some of my faves whether you're in the house bored or bored in the house.
I love a good pair of denim as much as the next girl, but my jeans have gotten a big break during this time. I've opted for more flexible materials (especially since I'm in my third trimester), and therefore view a good pair of sweats or joggers as a quarantine requirement in my eyes.
I ordered these joggers a few months ago before quarantine and they are the softest pants I own. I sized up to a medium to fit my bump, so they are a little long (I'm 5'4), but worth it for the comfort and price ($12.99)!
Matching lounge wear sets are all the rage these days, and I don't see them going out of style anytime soon. I'm a huge fan of rompers, even though it takes a little longer to pee and that awkward moment of being naked on a public toilet . . . but no need to worry about that during quarantine!
Whatever you choose to wear during the pandemic, remember to get up, stay active and seek productivity. I know I feel better at the end of the day knowing I accomplished something, even if that's in an old pair of sweats. What are your quarantine essentials? Comment below!
